Teaching English as an Additional Language
In order to cope with the academic and social demands of the School pupils must have a reasonable ability in spoken English. Tuition in English as an Additional Language (EAL) can be arranged at parents’ expense. An annual fee of £950 is payable for those international students for whom English is not their primary language and who, in the School’s opinion, require additional support in this area. This fee covers a maximum of two lessons per week for the year. Parents will be advised if further lessons are required at additional cost.
