Termly fees cover most classroom stationery and lectures. Sixth Form text books are charged as extra. There may be additional charges for some activities, some transport and use of non-school sport facilities. External examination fees are also charged.

A non-returnable registration fee of £75 is payable.
A deposit of £500 for day students and £750 for boarders is payable on acceptance of an offer of a place and is returned after the student leaves, less any sums outstanding to the school. Parents whose normal residence is outside the UK are required to pay a deposit equal to one term’s boarding fees.
Music: Payment for music lessons is direct to peripatetic music teachers. The charge for this year for individual lessons is £39.15 per hour (equal to £261.00 for ten 40 minute lessons).
Bursary awards are made for financial need and are based on means-tested assessments. Full details and copies of the application form are available from the Bursar’s office. Bursary applications should normally be received by 31 January with awards made in early March for the following academic year. Parents might also like to know that the Royal National Children’s Foundation (RNCF) provides advice and guidance to parents seeking information about help with fees; parents wishing to use the Educational Grants Advice Helpline should telephone 01932 865619 between 9am and 11am Monday to Friday. RNCF holds information on many charitable trusts and schools and has assisted many families who are in distress: either struggling financially, or needing support and guidance following a trauma or tragedy within their family.
