Our Sixth Form Committee are a group of eight Year 12 students who take on a leadership role each spring for a year. They plan the student social events, including the leavers ball and they act as a conduit between staff and students. Together with the Sixth Form tutor team, they went on a team work and leadership weekend in Snowdonia from 10th to 12th May. The students organised the trip themselves, arranging the catering and taking turns at managing the team. They had a positive attitude and bonded effectively as a team. The photos show them close to the crowded summit of Snowdon and then descending via the Watkin path. On the Sunday, on the journey home, there was a visit to ZIP world – nothing to do with Haberdashery, but in fact a series of long and fast zip wires across the Snowdonia landscape. A fine weekend, with great weather and the students were a pleasure to spend time with as always.
