- Our Curriculum | Frensham Heights
Our curriculum is intentionally broad to offer each student both a thorough grounding in a diverse timetable of creative, scientific, physical and theoretical subjects, but also to give them each the chance to find their own passions and interests. OUR CURRICULUM QUICK LINKS EARLY YEARS JUNIOR SCHOOL MIDDLE SCHOOL SENIOR SCHOOL SIXTH FORM A BROAD CURRICULUM At Frensham, we treat academic and creative subjects equally and our aim is to offer a very broad curriculum allowing each child to find their own strengths and passions. Creativity at Frensham is not limited to the creative subjects. We look for creativity of thought in all our subjects – to look at things a bit differently, to consider a different approach to the norm. In this way, we hope each student can find their own way to be engaged, that teachers can find a way to get everyone excited. ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE At Frensham, our team of responsive, experienced English teachers help inspire the students with a love of literature. Although we need to take account of exam requirements, we aim to create a culture that produces well-rounded and thoughtful learners who engage with each other, with the texts and with the issues they raise in the wider world. We encourage students to be passionate about English and enjoy reading - to ask questions, look for answers and make critical judgements. Active learning is at the heart of what the students do - looking not just at the how but the why, and so gaining a better understanding of the process of learning and their own abilities. Expectations and aspirations are high, but relevant to each individual, and we value all manner of talents. Regular formative assessments and assignments allow us to monitor progress and make adjustments so that every student has the opportunity to reach their full and unique potential. English is a core component of our curriculum from Nursery up through the GCSE years. As the children grow and develop in their own time, our aim is that students develop a love and appreciation for our subject. English is the foundation of everything we do. Our goal is for all our students to not only read and write effectively but to genuinely enjoy themselves and develop a sense of self-confidence. MATHS Our Maths teachers are really passionate about their subject and they genuinely want all their students to engage with and enjoy their classes. Confidence can often be an issue in Maths, but our small class sizes and friendly, informal class settings are the first steps in clearing this hurdle. The students, as with everything at Frensham, are at the centre of a safe, non-competitive teaching environment. All are encouraged to speak up and get involved, supporting one another and working together. Those who are naturally stronger will be challenged to expand and explore, those who need a slower pace will be supported and encouraged. The teachers structure their coursework around those students coming into their classes each year. The aim is for the students to really understand what they're learning and not just go through the motions for the sake of an exam or a grade. They are encouraged to work collaboratively through tasks and investigations - to present problems and share and discuss ideas and solutions - to really understand how what they're learning applies to life outside the classroom. SCIENCE The main aim of our Science department is to take the students on a journey from the youngest children through Sixth Form gaining the skills, knowledge and confidence to leave Frensham thinking like a scientist. With this wider understanding, they are ready for what might show up on an exam, but also much more than that. They will have the confidence to tackle what's put in front of them but also the courage to take risks and the willingness to learn. Our Science facilities are modern and facilitate group work and active participation of all students. Our teachers all have their own teaching style, but they all encourage students to take risks and explore -to feel that it's okay to get things wrong and make mistakes because that's how they learn. Try it - if it doesn't work, then learn from it - discuss, observe and try again. CREATIVE ARTS If you have stepped foot inside the Art & Design Centre at Frensham, you’ll know it’s simply breathtaking. Initially because of the outstanding facilities and equipment, but more powerfully for the breadth and quality of work on display. All students' work is displayed, not just that deemed better by a teacher, and the variety is immense and often challenging. This is not artwork created by following a prescriptive formula, but art created by students who are developing the courage to explore in their own way. That in itself is a gift which will benefit them no matter what they go on to do. Students have dedicated art classes from Nursery upwards. For the younger children, it’s all about getting excited about their art education and raising expectations of what they believe they can do. Our full art curriculum kicks off in Years 7 to 9 where students spend six hours a week, every week, exploring 2D, Ceramics and Design & Technology. Underpinning all is an experience of drawing, recording, investigating and exploring. The main goal is to develop willingness and enthusiasm and the courage to engage in the creative process. This builds confidence and ultimately self-esteem. Our primary aspiration is for our students to have the willingness and the courage to find their own creative voice – and once they have, to see the value in that. An important part of our classes throughout is discussion. Coming together to talk about their experiences, to learn to value their own work and the work of others. PERFORMING ARTS From Nursery through Year 9, music, dance and drama are all part of our curriculum. Everyone has a chance to get on stage and for those who crave the limelight, those opportunities can be many. The courage to get on stage is developed from an early age as is the ability to watch, listen and appreciate others. Aside from the bigger productions and concerts, students have dedicated time each week in the three performing arts and this is really where that confidence softly grows. Together, in a small group with a teacher they know well, they become comfortably uncomfortable. Tentatively stepping or leaping excitedly out of their comfort zones to the place where learning really happens. Each child is different and our teachers will get to know each so well that they will recognise where and how encouragement is needed, allowing even the most reluctant wallflower to have their time to shine. Along the way, reminding the most gregarious to step aside and let the others have their moment. So it’s not all about creating amazing dancers, singers and performers. Although we do that too! The performing arts serve another purpose at Frensham. They bring us together. Friends and families come together throughout the year to celebrate the spirit of our school. Whether it’s one of the amazing music and dance concerts, a musical, a big dramatic production, an informal recital or our Founders’ Day celebrations – our talented singers, dancers, actors, musicians, directors, designers, writers and teachers astound us constantly. Find out more about our Music School PE & SPORT Our commitment to extracurricular opportunities and outdoor education shows our deep belief that activities outside the classroom, inevitably, lead to further success within it as well. We recognise and embrace that every child is different. A limited view of sport can’t and won’t challenge and engage every child. It is only natural that Frensham has always respected the importance of sport in many forms. Our PE and games programme is broad and exciting. PE is compulsory and taught across the school by dedicated teachers. The curriculum includes traditional games such as cricket, tennis, rounders, football, hockey, swimming, athletics and netball as well as more alternative sports including basketball, handball, gymnastics and parkour. If a group of students are interested in a sport we don’t currently offer, we will do our best to get the equipment and knowledge and make it happen. We aim to provide sport for all regardless of ability and to motivate students to be active and healthy long into adulthood. Sporting fixtures are arranged with other schools and we take part in local and national league competitions. The aim is to make sport enjoyable with the emphasis on having a go and building skills through games, structured practices and, for those who enjoy them, highly competitive matches. Sports is part of our broad curriculum, as equal as all the other parts. We hope our students will love sport, love going to matches, win some, lose some and, most importantly, know how to win or lose well. We want our students to be fit and healthy, to get involved and include and value others. As with all areas of our curriculum, we challenge them to step outside their comfort zone and raise expectations of what they believe they can do. OUTDOOR EDUCATION At Frensham, we truly believe that as much, if not more, learning happens outside the classroom as within. Outdoor education has always been an intrinsic part of our curriculum from Forest Class for the Junior School through to very challenging expeditions for the older students. The programme for all activities begins with learning the skill set to prepare them for the experiential learning – the real adventures. As their practical skills develop and the experiences widen, the students develop massively in confidence, empathy, resilience, collaboration and communication. This is a real chance for those children whose courage may not come through in the classroom to really shine. Our onsite facilities are impressive – high-ropes, zipwire, climbing wall, bike trails and Jacob’s ladder to name a few. All activities and expeditions are run by staff who are constantly training and gaining further qualifications. It’s a real passion for students and staff alike with Frensham being the only school in the UK to hold the Gold Standard accreditation from The Association of Heads of Outdoor Education Centres. Students can also choose to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award through to the Gold Award. Frensham truly aims to embed a spirit of adventure into all students from an early age. To let them develop the courage to take on risks and step out of their comfort zone as well as the skills, maturity and confidence to do it capably, wisely and kindly.

Clare has always had a love of theatre and performance art. Through studying it and experiencing it all her life, her faith in drama as a subject and as a social tool has grown from strength to strength. To teach drama is to develop a critical awareness, develop an understanding of social contexts, as an expression of culture, and appreciation of acting as a craft. Alongside teaching and raising her young family, she is still a keen actor, appearing regularly locally in various performances with a much loved local amateur dramatics company. Hannah Fernandes Art Teacher Hannah enjoys instilling an excitement for Art in all children, exploring the creative challenges that lie at the heart of making, for both students and teacher. Katherine Loudoun Head of Art & Ceramics Katherine is a practising painter and printmaker, focusing her work on both architecture and landscape. Many of her work explores processes which are both analogue and digital and she is passionate to keep exploring traditional ways with new technology in the digital era. Working with etching, aquatint and silk screenprinting, she is a member of Ochre Print Studio in Guildford and very much enjoys continuing her personal print development learning new techniques. Katherine joined the Frensham Heights creative team in 2025 having worked in both state boarding schools and the independent sector over the last decade. Having obtained a BA(Hons) degree in Fine Art from Loughborough, she then went on to get her PGCE at Downing College, Cambridge. After establishing an ‘outstanding’ (Ofsted) art department in a newly opened school, Katherine did a part time Master of Educational Research at Cambridge in order to further her understanding of the creative arts in education. Katherine believes that exposure to the arts helps to formulate empathy, critical thinking and ultimately helps students discover who they are - using art as outlet for their expression and experience. In her earlier life she trained as a dancer in a variety of techniques from: ballet, modern and contemporary dance with Jayne Coleman Academy of Dance from the age of 4-18, competed in All England Dance Finals in the Peacock Theatre, London. The development of this voice alongside a consciousness of intention and purpose, lies at the heart of this challenge and privilege. His ambition is that A level Art & Design students regard themselves, and each other, as members of a community of artists within the school, where all have a role to play in the creation of a positive, challenging, yet supportive, group dynamic and everyone is valued and accepted as an individual. His current personal practice involves the primary use of digital media utilising digital montage processes to explore varied subject matter of an aesthetic, philosophical or political nature. He is a keen drummer and percussionist of the ‘rock & roll’ variety and enjoys playing a with a group of greying rock and rollers in the sticky pubs of London. Giles Rudd Assistant Head (Progress & Assessment) and Design & Technology Teacher Before undertaking his teacher training, Giles worked for one of the world leading civil engineering organisations, creating and developing computer aided design drawings, working alongside structural engineers and architects. He has been teaching Design & Technology for 16 years and is passionate about students believing in their abilities, and achieving excellent design outcomes. He has a particular interest in computer aided design and manufacture and thoroughly enjoys getting into the workshops and experimenting with a range of tools and machinery. Giles is also on the Senior Leadership Team at Frensham Heights and oversees whole school student progress and data, reporting and parents evenings, baseline data analysis and exams to name a few things. Giles oversees the very successful Greenpower Formula 24 electric car project at Frensham Heights. The team finished 2nd (in class) at the International Final at Goodwood last season and they’re always developing the car to try to find more ways of making it more efficient. His personal interests include downhill mountain biking, playing and watching football, taking his dog out for long walks and spending time with his friends and family. Kat Pinnell Director of Performing Arts Kat studied Musical Theatre at the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester where she specialised in singing, acting and dancing. She quickly discovered her passion for directing, writing and applied theatre and after working as a performer, Kat began her teaching career with a hunger to work with young people, direct youth performances and bring drama & theatre to the wider community. Since completing her PGCE with Manchester Metropolitan University, she has worked with young people across the country in Manchester, London and Sussex and directed a vast array of productions involving full-scale musicals, plays and physical theatre installations. Kat has studied with Frantic Assembly and favours the physical and political genres that theatre has to offer. However, when in the director’s chair, likes to sink her teeth into both realism and non-naturalistic performances utilising choral work. Kat has had a broad and varied teaching career, in addition to being Head of Drama, she has also been a Careers Coordinator and worked as a consulting Careers and Fundraising Officer with ‘Future Leaders’ in association with London Mayor & Queen Mary University. Neil Martin Design & Technology and Art Teacher Neil has worked at Frensham Heights since 2018 and gained his post graduate certificate in education whist working here. His main role is as the DT technician but he also teaches DT and Art. Having studied Fine Art at Byam Shaw School of Art (now part of Central St Martins) and briefly living as a full time artist in East London, Neil enjoys helping students explore the possibilities of materials and processes, using them to help the student push their creative limits. He is also a passionate advocate for the importance of drawing in all creative areas, not only as a process leading to a final piece in another medium, but also as a means of expression in itself. As such Neil teaches life drawing to students in years 10 to 13 and also teaches extra curricular classes in drawing for design. Outside of school Neil is a fierce competitor in the sport of wheelchair rugby, is teaching himself computer aided design and manufacturing, enjoys making things out of wood, and battles with two teenage daughters and two energetic dogs.

Children learn that their thoughts matter, their voices are heard and that school is a place filled with joy, kindness and adventure. From Little Learners to Confident Explorers Our Fireflies are fully part of the Frensham community. They use the same beautiful facilities, eat in the same dining hall and perform on the same stage as our older students. They are known, valued and included at every step and this is how their confidence starts to grow and blossom. We celebrate individuality. Our skilled Early Years Team uses a Planning in the Moment approach, responding to children in real time and turning their ideas into meaningful learning. Every activity is designed to be engaging, playful and purposeful. Staff model kindness, patience and genuine attentiveness, creating a culture where every child is heard and valued. With small class sizes and excellent ratios, children have the space to grow, thrive and become confident, joyful and excited learners. Transitioning into Reception Class from Fireflies We don’t want our children to grow-up too quickly and therefore use both Reception and Year 1 as time to transition happily and comfortably from the Fireflies space. Planning and Play in the Moment is still a massive part of our Reception class and the start of Year 1 and gradually this becomes more interspersed with learning moments of phonics, number work and increasing exploration of specific projects from our Junior School Curriculum. Our Fireflies Team Our EYFS staff are knowledgeable, creative and highly qualified, from Level 2 practitioners to postgraduate specialists. They thrive on children’s imagination and energy, creating a learning environment that is playful, stimulating and full of life. - Junior School | Frensham Heights
At Frensham, we treat academic and creative subjects equally and within the younger years particularly, our aim is to offer a very broad curriculum allowing each child to find their own strengths and passions. JUNIOR SCHOOL Keeping their curiosity alive. We may look different from more traditional independent schools (no uniforms, prefects or Saturday school) but we have regular routines, high expectations and a deeply purposeful approach to learning. What makes us unique is our diverse curriculum, our creative and caring Junior School Team, and our commitment to teaching bravely and responsively to the children in front of us. Whether indoors or outdoors, structured or spontaneous, learning at Frensham is warm, personal and child-centred. The best way to understand us is simply to visit — you’ll feel the difference immediately. QUICK LINKS FIREFLIES NURSERY TEACHING & LEARNING PASTORAL CARE OUR STAFF ADMISSIONS RECEPTION TO YEAR 6 Whether you are looking for an exciting and different learning experience for your child or you’ve ever worried that their spark might be fading, Frensham might be the home you’re looking for. We believe in keeping children younger for longer by protecting their sense of wonder in a world that often pushes them to grow up too quickly. Children are endlessly fascinating. Their optimism, imagination and creativity are superpowers and our job is to nurture these, not contain them. Every child expresses themselves differently - through words, movement, art, questions or quiet thinking - and our teaching adapts to honour their individuality. By championing children's voices and building a culture of mutual respect, our Junior School is a place where teachers and students learn together, think together and grow together. And have a whole lot of fun along the way! PASTORAL CARE We are progressive, but not without structure. Being modern and forward-thinking means knowing children deeply, helping them grow at their own pace and preparing them for a world we cannot yet imagine. All while protecting their childhood for as long as we can. People who haven’t visited sometimes focus on the no uniforms or first names. To us, these are simple things that reflect real-world relationships and mutual respect. What matters is our culture: teachers earn respect by showing it and children learn to do the same. With small classes and strong relationships, behavioural issues are rare and handled calmly through conversation and reflection. Our Junior School Learning Charter (co-created with Years 4, 5 and 6) sets clear expectations for both students and teachers and is grounded in children’s rights. OUR LEARNING CHARTER - YRS N-3 OUR LEARNING CHARTER - YRS 4-6 At the heart of everything we do are our values: TEACHING & LEARNING Small classes and close relationships mean teachers truly know each child: what excites them, what challenges them and what helps them thrive. Our brilliant Teaching & Learning Assistants help ensure every child is supported, stretched and engaged. Each year group is different so each year, we design teaching that fits them. People sometimes think we’re an “arts school.” While we excel in creative and performing arts, we are equally passionate about academic subjects, sport and outdoor learning. We offer a dynamic, balanced and holistic education where every discipline strengthens the others. A scientist benefits from understanding colour and pattern; a dancer from exploring global cultures; a sports-lover from grasping physics and geometry. All children perform on stage from an early age, even our Fireflies, because confidence and storytelling matter to every learner. We are proudly creative, proudly academic and always child centred. CLASS SIZES Our small classes allow space for conversation, flexibility and personality. Year R: max 10 Year 1: max 10 Years 2 to 6: max 18 We have one class per year from our Reception class to Year 3, and two classes per year in Years 4 to 6. Children can join at any point in the year (space permitting), and we work closely with families to ensure smooth transitions into the space. CURRICULUM Our Project focused curriculum sits at the heart of the teaching and learning in the Junior School and treats creative and academic subjects equally. With Maths, English, Science and Project sessions taught by the year team (with regular use of the outdoors) learning feels purposeful, fun and connected. The aim is to create an immersive learning experience that links subjects together, gives children lots of rich context and also blankets this with additional enrichment and unique experiences. At the centre of the curriculum are three umbrella themes for the whole Junior School across the year: Autumn – People and Self Spring - Society Summer – The Natural World Within these themes then sit termly projects which revolve around a curiosity question (CQ). Examples of this would be: In Year 3 the project is Inventors and Human Legacy and this is fuelled by the CQ - What makes an idea powerful enough to change the world? In Year 6 the project is Refugees and the CQ is - If a refugee’s suitcase could talk, what stories would it tell about hope, fear and courage? The end point of each project? A showcase moment, designed by the children according to their interests and passions and shared and celebrated with their peers, teachers and parents. Adventure is a huge part of Frensham life. From exploring our extensive grounds to trips further afield - the New Forest, Swanage, London and Wales - children learn through real experiences and certainly not just worksheets. Workshops, speakers and project-based learning bring added depth and excitement to the curriculum and bring it further to life. CURRICULUM PROJECTS MAP SPECIALIST TEACHING & ENRICHMENT Alongside their class teachers, children learn with specialists in: PE Performance Music Forest School Outdoor Education IT Modern Foreign Languages CURRICULUM RHYTHM & THE SCHOOL DAY We follow a full timetable, but teachers can extend activities when children are deeply engaged, making up time later - because meaningful learning matters more than ticking boxes. SCHOOL TIMINGS: Fireflies: 7.30am – 6.30pm Years R–3: 8:15am – 3:20pm Years 4–6: 8:30am – 3:30pm Each day includes five class periods, breaks, lunch and optional ECAs at lunchtime and after school. For Reception class through to Year 6, we also run our: Sunrise Sessions (breakfast club) from 7.30am – including a delicious breakfast Sunset Sessions (late-stay club) which runs until 5.30pm – including a tasty light tea TRANSITIONING INTO YEAR 7 Unlike most schools, Year 6 for us is about high-level enrichment and having an amazing time in your final year of primary education. All children in Year 6 are invited to join Year 7, and we then put a support flightpath of activities, information and experiences to help along the way and to make that step as easy and enjoyable as we can. Whether that be chatting to current Year 7s and asking those juicy questions that only children will answer in their unique and honest way, having a day in the life of a Year 7 or meeting their new tutor and tutor group before we break for the summer holidays… there is a great deal in place to ensure we build upon the positive momentum that Year 6 gives the children and also plenty of opportunity for new year 7 faces and families to touch base, check-in and start building those all-important relationships. OUR STAFF We recruit teachers who are imaginative, brave, caring and willing to think differently. Teachers who know children deeply and create joyful, meaningful learning environments. This shared spirit builds a powerful dynamic of trust, happiness and authenticity — the foundation of everything in the Junior School. OUR STAFF

- Our Approach | Frensham Heights
Frensham Heights is a progressive school. Learning is active, with students exploring, collaborating, discussing and discovering. Our aim is for all students to become independent learners and take their education and future in their own hands. OUR APPROACH OUR TEACHING & LEARNING We pride ourselves on looking at the whole child. Body, mind and spirit. Every child has potential. Not just a narrow potential to do well in academic tests or behave in a classroom, but each has their own potential far wider than this. An amazing imagination. A keen eye for colour or ear for rhythm. A passion for the environment, for numbers, for human rights, for literature. A natural grace on stage or one that’s still developing. We can miss the mark hugely if we judge children with easy to tick boxes when they undoubtedly have so much more to offer. And so, we offer them a very broad curriculum to let each child follow their own path towards fulfilling their unique potential. Until the end of Year 9, all students will explore a diverse timetable made up of mathematical and scientific, creative and performing, linguistic and literary, physical and technological, moral and spiritual, social and human subjects. All held in equal importance. Our GCSEs and A Levels are equally broad allowing students to create a tailor-made curriculum supporting their passions, strengths and goals. Within the classroom, life is just as diverse. Teachers are supported to be brave and innovative with their teaching. Classes are small allowing topics, activities and discussions to be modified, flexible, adaptable to the students involved. Teachers can break the mould, are encouraged to break the mould. If something’s not working, if interest or understanding is failing, they can stop and discuss. How can we make this interesting for you? How can we make this work? And together they can find that spark that has them all engaged, involved and really learning. Non-competitive classrooms allow the shyest to be more bold and the loudest to be more gentle, more considerate – valuable lessons in their own right. It creates a refreshing place to learn and teach. MEET OUR TEACHERS LEARNING RELATIONSHIPS We talk a lot about relationships at Frensham. To be very honest, and it’s probably clear, we are very proud of the relationships that develop here - they form one of our core values. Not just the schoolmates who go on to be lifelong friends and actually not just the relationships between people. At Frensham, really special relationships grow between teachers and students and from that between students and the subjects they become passionate about during their time here. With a more informal setting and smaller classes, the teachers and students really get to know each other. Literally on a first-name basis. This is important because we ask our students to step up and be more responsible and self-motivated than they may need to be elsewhere. We don’t micro-manage, we do support, but ultimately it’s down to each child to take control of their learning. Teachers learn each child’s strengths and weaknesses. They reinforce where needed and push where they can, but most importantly, they are a friendly face. They genuinely want to help, not to intimidate or belittle. Our teachers love the subjects they teach and they really want to pass that on. Their enthusiasm, interest and passion overflows into their students, particularly those that find they love those subjects too. That genuine shared enthusiasm breaks down barriers to learning. There’s no stigma attached. You can love maths and chat equations with your tutor at break. You can sing your heart out in the corridor on the way to class. No one will judge. You can be really academic or truly creative or both. The support you see here between students, between friends, really can bring tears to your eyes. As long as you do your best, take a few risks, step out of your comfort zone now and then, Frensham can support you with whatever your dreams may be. LEARNING ENVIRONMENT In many ways, on first glance, our classrooms won’t look so different from anywhere else, but on second glance, you might notice that the teacher probably isn’t standing at the front. They’re more likely to be mingled in amongst the students. You might start to notice that the volume is a bit higher, it’s not just the teacher talking, the students – in all year groups – will be discussing and taking part too. Some classes might have gone outside, some might be using the tarmac as a giant blackboard or the woods as a setting for some creative writing. In all cases there will be a flexibility at work allowing the lessons to be moulded to keep everyone’s interest high. In every lesson what will stand out is the genuine relationships between the teachers and students. This develops both from our small class sizes and our more informal approach - our first name basis and sense of equality and mutual respect. This creates a learning environment that is not often found in an academic setting - a positive and safe academic learning environment where students and teachers can be brave and not afraid to take risks or make mistakes. SPORTS OUTDOOR ED CREATIVITY Creativity at Frensham is not limited to the creative subjects. It also sits at the heart of our academics. We strive for creativity of thought in every academic pursuit – to look at things differently, to consider a different approach - this forms one of our core values. We hope each student can find their own way to be engaged, that teachers can find a way to get everyone excited. Beyond that, developing a strong practice of creative thinking is imperative for life after Frensham. We aim to develop each student into a questioning and socially conscious young person. Someone who isn’t scared to challenge the norm, to question and speak up, someone who will make a difference whilst at Frensham and beyond. HOMEWORK Students are set homework if it is meaningful and adds something to their learning. We don't set homework just for the sake of it and sometimes giving students time to simply reflect on their learning can be a powerful tool. However, homework does give students the opportunity to work on essential life skills like organisation, time management and self discipline. It can also provide opportunities to consolidate learning and engage in a topic or independent research. Homework can be extremely valuable but never at the expense of student wellbeing. Our priority is about striking the balance between homework providing academic support but also not becoming overwhelming. We want our students to be able to have time out of school to be children - to rest and play. If we strike the balance right, these are not mutually exclusive. SUPPORT FOR LEARNING We have an excellent Support for Learning team and we are able to offer support to children with mild learning difficulties. Through our entrance process, we will assess whether we can meet the needs of each child - this is to ensure that all students can flourish and thrive during their time at Frensham. We are unable to provide dedicated teaching assistants or one-to-one support in class. We are also unable to support children with moderate or severe learning needs. OUR SEN POLICY
