The Frensham Centenary Fireworks lit up the sky on Monday 3rd November. And what a spectacular way to celebrate 100 incredible years of our school’s history!
As dusk fell over the grounds, families, students, OFs and friends gathered together, wrapped in scarves and smiles, ready for an evening of celebration. The festivities began with the joyful sounds of the fairground with laughter from the dodgems and teacups and the tempting aromas of delicious food drifting through the air. From sweet treats to hearty bites, there was something for everyone to enjoy as the evening came to life.

Throughout the night, our talented students took to the stage with a series of musical wonderful performances each one showcasing the creativity, confidence and community spirit that make Frensham so special.

As the evening drew to a close, the crowd gathered on the front lawn in eager anticipation for the grand finale. The fireworks began with a breathtaking display forming a sparkling “100”, a perfect tribute to our school’s centenary. From there, the sky erupted into a dazzling show of colour and light, perfectly choreographed to music. The moon peeked through the clouds behind the bursts, adding an extra touch of magic to the scene.

Not even a little drizzle could dampen our spirits. If anything, it only made the lights shimmer all the more beautifully.
It was a night full of joy, laughter and pride; a true reflection of the warmth and togetherness that have defined Frensham over the past century.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, from the organisers and performers to the families and friends who came along to share in the fun. Here’s to the next 100 years of Frensham and to many more magical evenings like this one!
